All applicants to our Changing the Law scholarship must be current or incoming college students with good academic standing. We may require that you provide your academic transcripts. Our scholarship is open to all who wish to apply and who fit these standards. Please ensure that all application materials are accurate before submission. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies, technical difficulties, or other mishaps that could affect your ability to submit. If you miss the deadline of June 15, 2022, you will not be able to apply.
Anyone who meets the following conditions is NOT eligible to apply:
1. Employees or children of employees of Pacific West Injury Law
2. Past recipients of the Changing the Law Scholarship
3. Applicants who are unable/unwilling to be interviewed by a representative of Pacific West Injury Law if he/she were to be awarded the scholarship.
4. Applicants who submit the same essay for multiple scholarships

The only factors that we consider are your academic standing and status as a college student. The most important thing we rely on when judging applicants is the quality of the essays they submit for review.

Your privacy is paramount to us. We do not store or use your personal information for any other purpose other than to check your eligibility for this scholarship. None of the information you send to us will be shared or made public.
We will only make public the name, image, and scholarship entry of the winner of the scholarship.
Announcing the Winner
A winner will be announced within 30-60 days after the deadline to submit. If you are the winner, you will receive a notification from our committee. This announcement acts as a notification for all other applicants. Feel free to check our scholarship page for any updates.
